ON TASTE

An interrogation of beauty. A critique of judgment.

This is an ongoing interrogation of the social standard of beauty, with close reference to Kant’s ‘Critique of Taste’.

The artist intends to critique our preconditioned notions of beauty and visual pleasure.
Each piece, whether it be performance, sculpture/mask, or painting, has been created with the intention to question what beauty is and to suggest a broadening of our comfort zones.

Masks/sculptures have been made by (and performed by) the artist.
